Relay For Life of Madison/Ridgeland will take place on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 6:00pm – midnight at Liberty Park! Local cancer survivors and their caregivers are invited to participate in the celebratory first lap at the annual American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Madison/Ridgeland. The Survivors Lap will start 6:00pm, and anyone who has ever been diagnosed with cancer may participate. StinkyFeet Athletics will kick off their first ever Retro Run 5K at 8:30pm as part of the evening’s activities. The preview party is April 30, and the main event is May 1-2. Glass, crystal, pottery and porcelain repairs on site. The event is a fundraiser for the Madison Central PTA and and auditorium renovations for the Madison Square Center for the Arts. Join the party 6-8pm at the Madison Square Center for the Arts. Flowood R/C Indoor Park is the first permanent city owned indoor off road remote control race track in the US. FRC opened December 1, 2010. There is a guest fee of $10 per day to run your own car or you can rent a car if you do not have one of your own. There is no charge for spectators. Racing is held every Saturday starting at 2pm unless there is a special event going on. FRC holds special event races throughout the year. They also do birthday parties and provide the remote control vehicles.
