It was named after the fact that strawberries were produced in the area and distributed by train from the railroad depot; therefore, creating Madison. The current owners bought the café in August of 2005, changing everything except the name, in hopes of creating a restaurant in Madison with a comfortable atmosphere and great food. The cafe is said to have a great variety of menu items and a fantastic atmosphere. Some reviews said it was also a great place for supper club and that the service is top notch.
