Jean-Henri Fabre, often called the father of modern entomology, was an extraordinary man who rose from humble beginnings in nineteenth-century France to a Nobel Prize nomination and worldwide fame. Matt Smith, GIS analyst and the author of a new children's biography of Jean-Henri Fabre, will tell the story of Fabre's life and focus on a few of his most important discoveries - and how you can discover them all over again in your own backyard! Join the MS Museum of Natural Science for the "First Tuesday" Lecture. This will be a great time for kids and their parents! Cost is included with admission to the museum and the reading event will take place Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from Noon-1 p.m. Enjoy!
